Camp Adventure is a concept and product design exploration rooted in curiosity and foresight. I examined both macro and micro trends, looking at cultural shifts, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviors to understand what is shaping the market today and what is on the horizon. This work focuses on a kids’ summer product assortment, translating insights into playful, forward-thinking design concepts that inspire outdoor exploration and imaginative adventure.
Fillin' Station faced the challenge of establishing a cohesive and recognizable brand identity that captures its unique atmosphere and appeal. The absence of a well-defined brand identity can lead to inconsistency across touchpoints, making it difficult to create strong brand recognition and customer loyalty.

Research reveals that by 2027, interest in sports and outdoor activities is expected to grow significantly as people seek experiences that boost mood, well-being, and social connection. Participation in sports clubs and community recreation programs is rising, and classic outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and biking are seeing renewed popularity. Gen Z, in particular, is driving this shift as they look for ways to disconnect from digital life and rediscover authentic, real-world experiences. Reflecting this movement, visitation to U.S. National Parks has reached a record 331.9 million recreation visits — a clear sign that people are craving time in nature. What better way to reconnect than by going to camp?

The Camp Adventure material and color direction celebrates the warmth and authenticity of outdoor life. Materials like gingham, patchwork, tufted fabrics, puffed comforters, and enamelware bring a sense of nostalgia and comfort, reminiscent of classic camp gear. The color palette is inspired by nature, mixing earthy neutrals with bold, vibrant tones that reflect sunny skies, forest greens, campfire reds, and cool lake blues. Together, these materials and colors create a look that feels cozy, playful, and connected to the outdoors, capturing the spirit of camp as a place to relax, explore, and rediscover simple joys.
